While paranormal investigations had been a frequent past time, White Owl did not come into existence until the loss of Julie's dog, Ryder. Looking forward to paranormal investigating and "ghost hunting" was something Julie focused on to find enjoyment in her grief. The White Owl symbol and the search for remnants left behind by others who have passed on, is a tribute to him.

This was in a series of 3 photographs taken at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Two strange orbs were seen only in this photograph that did not appear in the other two.
Those same two orbs would show up in other photographs in the room, that did not appear in the other photographs of the series.
